Mockingbird Streetfood.
We were approached to develop a brand for an up and coming street food brand – Mockingbird. This unique concept involved a menu of equal parts mouthwatering chicken and vegan mock-chicken dishes, served from their brand new repurposed container kitchen in Grimsby.
Our Creative Director Kirk got to work developing an eye-catching hand-illustrated modern style for Mockingbird with a brash yellow and black colour palette, inspired by doodle artists and street art. This was rounded out with a recognisable ‘funky chicken’ mascot character and used used to wrap the outside of the container kitchen, on their menus, sundries, a website and more.
To help complete the package we also helped to develop a light hearted tone of voice for the brand, with slogans such as “Mock or Bird, you decide” and “It’s a wing thing”.
